About Jaki Lockwood

Jaki Lockwood joined Dr Seeker and Austin Area OBGYN as a nurse practitioner in 2008 after obtaining her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.  She received her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, graduated summa cum laude and became certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Jaki specializes in women’s health care and brings her family practice background to provide a comprehensive yet individualized approach to preventative healthcare across the lifespan. Jaki’s services include annual exams, birth control consults, fertility assessment and treatments, initial OB evaluations, IUD insertions, colposcopies, Nexplanon insertions and hormone replacement therapy management, to name a few. Jaki also has a special interest in adolescent preventative health.

Jaki is a native Austinite and loves providing health care to women in her hometown. When out of the office, you can find her spending time with her family on Lake Austin, running the trail, rock climbing along the greenbelt or eating Italian food.
